What is Reiki?

Reiki is the “universal healing energy”. It works mainly and foremost for oneself and only then for others, even though you can really help others much in many different ways.

Learning Reiki

It is learned in 3 steps: the 1st level, the 2nd level and the master level. After that you can become a teacher but you don’t have to.

Learning the levels of Reiki is called initiation at which your naturally existing channel is being widened and you learn the technique of how to use it. Each initiation lasts 8 to 9 hours, and I only do them individually one by one (that means one person a day).

This channel widening can ONLY be done hands on and not over the distance.

It will change your life for the better because you will have (spiritual) help in overcoming your own obstacles – one by one, once and for good.

There are many other energy healing techniques out there now but the original is the “USUI REIKI” after Dr. Usui Mikao who rediscovered this old lost healing technique during a meditation in 1922. It is the basis of learning all others. It is like learning your abc’s, without that you cannot learn to read and write.

Reiki Treatment

A Reiki treatment is a wonderful thing. It relaxes you totally and you will be able to let go of the daily stress. Of course it also helps to ease pain, relax shoulder and neck muscles or lessen pain in your knee etc.

But it also always means that you have to change something in your life and I will be able to pinpoint that and maybe help you along.

The result of a treatment will not last forever unless you accomplish that change. It is also never an alternative to a visit to a doctor. But it strongly supports your healing and will help you on your way.

A session usually lasts 60 minutes. After that we take some time to come back to the here and now.

I usually recommend getting 3 treatments in a row (within 10 days or so). The results will be more lasting and thorough.
